Design and Installation of Cost-Efficient Piles (DICEP) conference is primarily designed for civil, geotechnical, and structural engineers, with lectures on the advantages of driven pile presented from an engineering perspective. However, the conference is also intended to provide a positive learning experience for contractors and other firms or individuals who support, conduct business or are associated with the pile driving industry. This conference will provide up to 7 PDH's for engineering license renewal. The 2008 DICEP conference will focus on design, installation, cost efficiency, varying material selection, new technologies and advantages for using driven pile in deep foundation solutions through a series of lectures presented throughout the day.
PDCA is also including an industry exhibition, providing 19 - 6' table top booths for exhibitors to display and promote their products and services throughout the day-long conference.
The 2008 DICEP program will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008, at the InterContinental New Orleans on St. Charles in the heart of downtown, just three blocks from the French Quarter and Mississippi River and two blocks from Harrah's Casino.
